St. Ignatius Boys Hostel outside Kolkata, India

Since March 2011, Paul Sidebottom, a parishioner of St. Mary Wichita, has served as administrator to the St. Ignatius Boys Hostel outside Kolkata, India. Under the auspices of the Philanthropic Society of the Orthodox Church, the aim of the Boys Hostel is to foster and educate the poorest and most unfortunate. Click here for more information.

DUI Victim Center Panel

Our Humanitarian Ministry Team has committed to providing volunteers monthly for a DUI Victim Center Panel. The DUI Victim Center was founded by one of our parishioners. The Center provides services to victims and their families and increases awareness of the traumatic consequences of drunk driving. The Panel provides an opportunity for DUI offenders to see the outcomes, tragedies, and other negative effects of drunk driving while creating a powerful opportunity for victims to work through the recovery and grieving process.
