FESTIVAL IS FRIDAY, MAY 4 & SATURDAY, MAY 5, 2018

Mediterranean Festival Mark your calendars for Friday, May 4, and Saturday, May 5, 2018! This year's Mediterranean Festival is a two-day event, featuring a Friday night event from 6 - 10 pm and an all day event on Saturday from 12 pm - 8 pm.

For 86 years, St. Mary Orthodox Christian Church has celebrated its Mediterranean heritage through public dinners and bake sales. Sharing this heritage with our local community has been an important and continuous part of our parish life and outreach since our founding, and we look forward to continuing that tradition with the 2018 Mediterranean Festival

We have several exciting things in store for this year, including the return of our Friday night event (known as a "hafli" in Arabic.) Join us for an evening of food, fun, music, and dancing! Our live, professional DJ is playing a highly curated selection of ethnic music while guests join together for traditional "dabke" dancing. It's easy to learn and fun for all ages! We are serving a select menu of food that includes a unique selection of ethnic wine and beer. Admission is free. This is an all ages event you don't want to miss!

Day two of our event is jam packed with great things, most especially our Mediterranean Marketplace, and our a la carte menu featuring dishes from Lebanon, Syria, and Greece. Ethnic wine and beer is available, as well as a local craft beer. Join us in our new outdoor space for lunch or dinner (or both!) dine in or carry out, and eat inside or outside under our covered tent. All items are a la carte, so bring your friends and try a little bit of everything!

As always, you can pre-order some of your favorite foods by filling out enclosed order form and sending it to the church, or by visiting our website where you can securely order online. The deadline for pre-orders is April 25. Pre-order pickup day is May 2 from 9 am-12 pm and 3 pm-7 pm.

Every year we share a portion of our proceeds with a local charity. This year, we support the Wichita Family Crisis Center. Formerly known as the Women's Crisis Center, the center served over 1300 victims and their children last year. They provide emergency housing services free of charge for individuals who are fleeing domestic violence, at risk of being abused, or homeless due to domestic violence. We have committed to giving 10% of our net proceeds from the Festival and hope that you join us in supporting this important cause.

Use the navigation to the right to explore the many things we have to offer at the Festival, including our full menu, shopping, activities, pre-order, and the local charity we will be supporting this year. We look forward to seeing you in May!

We accept cash, check and credit cards!
