Other Notes

(1) HOUSE BLESSINGS: If you would like a house blessing this year, please contact me via e-mail (preferred) or sign up on our sign up sheet available in the foyer.

(2) CHILI LUNCHEON: Next Sunday during coffee hour we have a Chili Luncheon. See the flyer for details. A free-will offering is accepted for our 90^th Anniversary “Children Are A Blessing” Fund with Wichita’s Littlest Heroes. Containers of chili can also be purchased to take home for $8/quart. We will still have the MF Prep for parsley that same day as well.

(3) DYNAMIC MARRIAGE COURSE: Fr Aaron and Kh Gwen are facilitating a nine-week Dynamic Marriage class beginning on Sunday, February 13 (the first class is introductory and will not interfere with the Super Bowl). If you would like to learn more about the class you may visit the website of the Marriage Dynamics Institute (https://marriagedynamics.com/dynamic-marriage-9-week-course/) or contact Fr Aaron (stmarywichita@cox.net) or Kh Gwen (bigsmile9@yahoo.com). You can also view the linked “Dynamic Marriage Curriculum.”  The deadline to register for this transformative class is Tuesday, January 25. Please contact Fr Aaron to officially register.

(4) MED FEST PARISH WORK DAYS: Work days for our annual fundraiser begin early in 2022 with four Saturdays in January and early February. Please see the linked calendar for additional work days. We are preparing more food than we have done in several years. Please come and help as much as you can. Enjoy some fellowship and help make this fundraiser our best yet!

(5) BISHOP BASIL ENDOWMENT FUND: Please see the link regarding information on the Bishop Basil Endowment Fund and the collection we take each year in December/January for his name day. Note that individual donations need to be made payable to St. Mary and earmarked “Bishop Basil Endowment” so we can send one check at the end of the collection from our parish. All donations must be received in the office or by the treasurer by Thursday, January 20. Thank you for your generosity in honoring our beloved Bishop Basil while supporting missions projects.
