Today we hosted a Ministry Team Showcase to highlight the various ministry teams/organizations parishioners can participate in at St Mary to help fulfill our mission. This is a beautiful pamphlet put together by Ro Kallail with information about each team. Please review the pamphlet and let me or a ministry team chair know if you’d like to get involved with that specific ministry team.

Other Notes
(1) FAMILY PROMISE DREAM BIG GALA FUNDRAISER: You’re invited to attend the annual Gala Fundraiser for Family Promise of Greater Wichita. The event is Thursday, October 28, 2021. It will be held at Mark Arts, 1307 N. Rock Road, beginning at 5:30 pm. Your ticket will include access to the online auction and entry to the in-person event. The event includes a catered meal and live auction. This evening of fun will support FPGW’s programs to help local families facing homeless circumstances. This link takes you to the website where you can purchase tickets and learn more about the event. THANKS for your support of this important ministry the past five years.

(2) MEDICAL MERCY FOR LEBANON: The International Lebanese Medical Association of Kansas, in partnership with St George Cathedral, is having a drive to collect desperately-needed medications and medical supplies for the suffering people of Lebanon. St George has asked us to spread the word at St Mary as the need is great. Please see the linked flyer for more details of what is needed and where to drop off supplies. The final date for the collection is Saturday, October 30. Thank you in advance for your generosity to helping our brothers and sisters in need.

(3) ANNUAL PARISH MEETING: Our Annual Parish Meeting is Sunday, November 7, immediately following Divine Liturgy. At that meeting we discuss and approve the 2022 budget and discuss important upcoming activities and events. We will be providing pizza and other food for those who are able to attend. We will distribute the Annual Meeting booklet next weekend so people may review it in advance.

(4) ST MICHAEL RETREAT: We have been invited to a retreat at St Michael/Park City, KS, on November 5 – 6. Details are in this flyer.
